Six Days in Fallujah How to mute players

Six Days in Fallujah is a tactical military shooter video game that aims to provide an immersive and realistic depiction of the Second Battle of Fallujah. So in this game, players basically engage in intense combat scenarios. Since realism is the prime focus of the game, we can be sure that effective communication within the squad is crucial. But sometimes, you might come across annoying players with music blasting in the background. Obviously, the next thing you would want to do is mute them. But is it even possible? Keep reading to learn more.

Communication is key in any co-op situation. This is equally true for Six Days in Fallujah since the game has the words “tactical shooter” in its description. Tactics require communication, which in turn will require you to use the microphone. But what if your squadmate is annoying? Surely, hearing them scream while you are trying to focus on the game is the last thing you want. So, how to mute them? Well, in this article, we will share all the details regarding this mute function in Six Days in Fallujah.

Six Days in Fallujah How to mute players

Folks, as of writing this article, an option to mute players in Six Days in Fallujah is not present. Yes, you heard that right. As devastating as it may sound, it is the reality for now. The issue seems to stem from the absence of a Push to Talk feature while communicating with your teammates. Actually, in the game right now, players will have to leave the mic open if they want to communicate with their teammates. Without the push-to-talk feature, you can already imagine the amount of noise that will pass through and cause distractions for fellow teammates. And players are obviously annoyed by this. We have already heard instances of players taking a sonic peek into the personal lives of their teammates. They have shared their experiences of their squadmates playing loud podcasts, having excessive ambient noise bleeding into their microphone, or even having a full-blown argument! In such a situation, a mute function can be the key to your peace of mind while gaming, free from unnecessary disturbances.

Luckily, all the complaining caught the attention of one of the developers of Six Days in Fallujah, who has acknowledged the player feedback and concerns regarding the absence of a mute function. In response, the developer has stated their intention to implement a push-to-talk (PTT) feature in an upcoming patch for the game. This PTT feature will allow players to control when their microphones are active, ensuring that only intentional communication is transmitted to the squad. By introducing this feature, the developers aim to provide a solution to the audio disruptions and promote smoother and more immersive gameplay. However, a dedicated mute button isn’t something they are working on, right now. Well, that is all the information we have on how to mute players in Six Days in Fallujah.
