The new Shin Megami Tensei instalment is here. In this article, I will tell you about Shin Megami Tensei V Release date, The rumoured new trailer and gameplay and more. Stick around and be up to date and prepared when the game finally hits the market.

Shin Megami Tensei V

Shin Megami Tensei V is an upcoming role-playing video game in development by Atlus. It is part of the Shin Megami Tensei series. Which itself is a part of the larger Megami Tensei franchise. It is scheduled for release on the Nintendo Switch in early 2021. It is produced by Shin Megami Tensei IV director Kazuyuki Yamai and is designed as a hybrid between Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne and Shin Megami Tensei IV. The game will feature returning gameplay mechanics such as raising and fusing demons. The third game was very well received by the public. The gameplay for the 3rd game uses a turn-based battle system based on exploiting weaknesses. A Demon recruitment system allowing the player to recruit demons found in the Vortex World to fight alongside them.

The release date for 2021

In July 2020 we already saw the trailer for the game. and the game is set to be released in mid-2021. The game will be a simultaneous worldwide release. It will surely be a sight to see. The game is only available for Nintendo Switch, unlike its predecessors. The game will not be released for any other console as of yet. It is not listed on the official website. There will be a Shin Megami concert this weekend.

We can expect a new trailer or even snippets of gameplay. Atlus usually tends to drop news at concerts for their games. They did this for Persona 5 as well so it is not a deviation from the normal.
