A month or so ago, a new teaser trailer for the latest Seven Knights Revolution game was released by Netmarble. Let’s take a look at everything that was revealed, and when the possible release window for the global edition of this game could be. Right, let’s get into it.
You can watch the full teaser trailer here. It seems as though Netmarble is choosing to stick to the anime and manga roots of the series, with its classical art style making a return, giving a very distinct look to the game. The soundtrack for the trailer is excellent, and one can only hope that the final game will also include grand piano and orchestra flourishes in the background during combat sequences. The game has been confirmed as being an MMORPG game, or a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. This style is very reminiscent of The Elder Scrolls Online game, and many fans have also pointed out some striking similarities between The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and Seven Knights Revolution. The daedra in the Elder Scrolls can be likened to the Seven Knights, and the fact that they lend special forms, powers, and weapons to mortal beings is exactly the same as daedric items being lent out to humans for their use. Either way, Seven Knights: Hero Successors has teasers in both Korean and Japanese, meaning the game is ready to be released in those two regions. We global fans will still have to wait a while as the game is optimized and lines are translated for consumption by the rest of the world. There is no official word on a global release date. As a matter of fact, it is still not confirmed if Netmarble is even considering a global release, but due to the fact that Netmarble has publicly announced its ambitions of entering the mainstream market, this is extremely likely to happen within a year or so.
