Being a farming life sim, resources are what matter most in Sengoku Dynasty. And since you are role-playing a life in feudal Japan, it is the metals and other materials that you will be scouting the most for. So, if you have been playing the game and now find yourself in need of some bronze, we have you covered. Here are all the details about bronze in Sengoku Dynasty.
We get it; finding bronze can be a bit confusing for new players. Do you get it as a whole or do you have to craft it? If so, what are the other materials required to craft bronze? And with items like the bronze pickaxe becoming a requirement to mine other essentials like iron, it is very important to know how to get your hands on bronze early on in the game. So, without any further ado, let’s get right into the details.
Sengoku Dynasty Bronze: How to get, find, and make
If you recall your chemistry classes, Bronze isn’t a natural resource you’ll find directly in the environment; instead, it’s an alloy, typically crafted by combining copper and tin, which are mined separately. The same is also true for bronze in Sengoku Dynasty. So, here is a step-by-step breakdown of smelting bronze in the game.
Smelter
First off, you’ll first need to set up a Workshop in your village. Inside the Workshop, construct a smelter. The location is not important and you can place the smelter anywhere inside the workshop. Setting up the smelter is a quest in itself if you don’t know about the requirements. So, for the smelter, chop down some trees for the logs. Next up, equip yourself with a copper pickaxe and collect clay from any river. Once you have these materials, you can set up the smelter in your Workshop to start crafting bronze. The only thing to keep in mind here is that the smelter has to be inside the workshop.
Copper and Tin
Fortunately, you won’t need refined copper or tin to craft bronze—raw copper and tin ores work just fine. Copper and tin ores are fairly easy to come by through exploration, and you may already have some in your inventory. To craft bronze, all you need is one tin ore and one copper ore, which you can then smelt to create one bronze ingot.
How to smelt bronze?
After you have the smelter and the ores, gather some firewood to start and head to the smelter to start the process. Interact with the smelter and then you can load up the ores to smelt bronze. Now, a few things to be aware of here are that you can load up to 20 bronze ingots in the smelter’s queue, but each ingot smelts one at a time and takes several minutes to complete. After a while, you can collect all the bronze ingots that have been produced.
