One Piece Chapter 965 is out online via official sources. The chapter showed another part of an enthralling journey of Kozuki Oden on Whitebear’s ship. In the chapter, Toki revealed that her parents were from Wano country that’s why she wanted to go to Wano. When Oden told her his intentions of not going to Wano, she accepted to stay with him. She was in love with him and decided to stay forever with Oden.
Momonosuke and Hyori were born when Oden and Toki were still travelling with Whitebeard. After four years of Oden’s travelling, Whitebeard divided his fleet into five division and made Oden as commander of the second division.
The chapter also showed how Orochi became shogun of Wano. While Oden was travelling with Whitebeard, his father Sukiyaki Kozuki fell ill. Sensing his death, he made preparations to pass down shogunate to Oden smoothly after he died. He selected a temporary regent and chose none other than Orochi Kurozumi. Orochi was planning for this when he came to know that how his clan would become lord of Wano if Sukiyaki wasn’t born.
The chapter ended with Roger announcing a battle with Whitebeard who was at the other end of the same island.

After his battle with Whitebeard, Roger will propose Oden to join him in his journey to find One Piece. Since Oden was the only person outside the Wano who knew to decipher poneglyph it would be interesting to see how Roger will convince Oden.
