The mobile version of one of the most famous and most played PC games, Rocket League, is finally out and it has got a new name – Rocket League Sideswipe. The game was launched on 29th November 2021 and has managed to impress almost everyone.
But, certain issues have enraged the players, and we are not too happy about that. One of such issues is the login issue using the Epic Games accounts. Here is everything you need to know –

Whenever they try to do so, they are greeted with a message “Send Request Twice”, and they fail to log in with their Epic Games account into the game.

CAN WE FIX THIS LOGIN ISSUE IN ROCKET LEAGUE SIDESWIPE?
You now have an idea about the Epic Games account login issue in the game Rocket League. So is there any fix for this issue yet? The good news is that there are certain fixes and workarounds that players can use to solve the login issue. Here are they –
CLEAR CACHE AND COOKIES FROM THE WEB BROWSER
This is one of the most effective solutions to solve the aforementioned issue. You can try clearing all the cache and cookies from your dedicated web browser. And these include both Google Chrome and Safari. Here is how you can do that –
Google Chrome –
- Open your Chrome browser. Click on the three horizontal dots on the top right to open the Settings menu.
- Under Settings, navigate to the “Privacy” option and then click on “Clear Browsing Data”.
- Check the boxes of “Cookies, Site Data” and “Cached Images and Files” options, and finally tap on the “Clear Browsing Data” option.
Safari –
- Open Safari and go to the “Settings” app. Scroll down until you find the Safari settings.
- Search for the “Clear History and History Data” option, select it and finally select the “Clear History and Data” option.
Once you have cleared the cookies and cache, boot up the game ad try logging in to your Epic Games account using Chrome or Safari to see if the issue is resolved.
CLEAR ROCKET LEAGUE SIDESWIPE GAME DATA
If you find that the issue of login still persists even after clearing the browser data and cookies, you can try deleting the game’s data. There are different methods to do this when it comes to Android and iOS. Here is how you can do that –
Android –
- Under your phone’s settings, search for the “Apps” option and click on it. From the apps available, scroll down and locate the game.
- Click on the game and locate the “App Info”. Once you have done that, select “Storage” and then click on the “Clear Data” option.
iOS –
- Go to the phone’s Settings and tap on your “Apple ID Profile” tab.
- Next, select the iCloud submenu, and then click on the “Manage Storage” option.
- Once you have done that, scroll down the list of apps to find the game before selecting the “Disable & Delete” option.
UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL THE GAME
This is the final thing that you can do to solve the issue. If nothing works, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the game again to solve the login issue. You can simply go to Google Play Store or the iOS App Store, search for the game, uninstall it and then reinstall it. This has reportedly solved the issue for a lot of players.
