Roblox Studio Error Load GUAC policies failed: How to fix it?

Roblox is one of the most famous gaming as well as game creation platforms in the world. This platform was created in 2006 and is popular for its suitability for kids of all ages. This platform facilitates players to play the games created by other individuals on this platform through Roblox Studio. Roblox Studio gives you the perfect platform to create games on your own and publish them in a single click. In Studios, games are coded under an object-oriented programming system utilizing a dialect of the programming language Lua to manipulate the environment of the game. Moreover, users can also create purchasable content through one-time purchases or some microtransactions which can be purchased more than once. 

Many players regularly use this platform to play games and interact with other players but unfortunately, some of them are facing an unusual GUAC error while operating Roblox Studio. The Error we are talking about comes with a message, Web request to load GUAC policies failed. The backend UniversalAppConfiguration service may be down. If you are also getting troubled by this error, we will be discussing its fix here. Roblox Studio Error Load GUAC policies failed

Roblox Studio GUAC error is as easy to fix as complicated it looks. Just follow the below-mentioned steps carefully to fix this error easily.

  1. Go to the Windows Search Bar and type Registry Editor. Run this app as an administrator.
  2. Once a new Window of the Registry Editor opens, click on the “HKEY_CURRENT_USER” and you will see an expanded list.

  3. From this list, further extent the Software Folder. After expanding, you will witness a huge list of Software keys that are installed on your computer.
  4. Now, find 2 folders named, Roblox and Roblox Corporation in the list of the software keys installed here.
  5. Delete the Roblox key folder and Roblox Corporation key folder from the registry editor application. 
  6. Close the Registry Editor and try to launch Roblox Studio now. You will see that this error is resolved.
