S Rank Clear Conditions
How to get S Rank
Getting the Rank means forgetting that there is a save feature in the game. You have to rely on the autosave feature and clear the game with as little saves as possible. In higher difficulty, it gets even trickier.

Unlike Resident Evil 3: Nemesis there is no S+ rank in this game.
Rewards
Earn Shop Points
Here comes the loadout of secret weapons & items. You know that one gun you had an eye on since the beginning of the time, you can buy it if you achieve S rank.
Unlock Records & Rewards
It will unlock the records section of the game, giving unlockable model viewers and design assets. It also gives you free reigns over customization and points to spend.
Get the Achievement
You will unlock the achievement as soon as you complete S rank. This is true for every platform.
S Rank Gameplay Tips
Remember the Story
Learning more about the game’s objective, enemy spots, objectives and other things go a long way to achieving that rank. Once you get the hang of it you will be breezing past everything.
Learning the Story will also help you decide when to pick a fight and when to run. A lot of enemies don’t need to be fought. You conserve ammo and time through this.
The Story comes with a lot of Puzzles, remember the location and solution. This is very important because the solutions usually take a huge chunk of the time.
Weapons & Items
Infinite ammo weapons are your best friend here. They do not affect the final rating so you should definitely be using the heck out of them. The Infinite rocket launcher is the best among these.
Coin buffs are another important aspects that will help you with the speed run. Make use of the Iron Defense Coin to boost your durability. Purchase them from the shop whenever you like.
Do Not Use Continue
Using the continue when you die adds on to the time you took to reach there. So better go back to the title screen and load your save from there.
