Well, don’t expect an official fix for this issue anytime soon, as reports regarding the same are pretty scarce. That said, here are some workarounds that are worth a shot:
Restart
Before you try any complex fix, consider restarting the game and then loading into the same save to check whether the cart spawns now. If not, then try the next fix.
Buy another cart
It is possible that the cart got destroyed during your exploration, which is why it is not spawning. In that case, you will have to buy a new one from the service station. Do note that you can’t buy one while playing a level. You will have to complete it and then transport yourself back to the service station for the same.
Disable mods
Well, we know that playing R.E.P.O. with mods enabled is always quite fun, but it may be the mods that are causing this issue. So, to rule out this possibility, head over to the Thunderstore Mod Manager and then disable every mod before launching the game. Now, check if the issue persists. If it doesn’t, quit the game and enable every mod one by one after launching the game to be able to verify which one is the cause.
Start fresh
Well, if none of the workarounds have been of any help, then consider starting from level 1 again by deleting your current save or dying at the hands of a monster. Doing so will reset your progress. This reset should make sure that the cart returns.
