Pulse Rifle in Remnant 2

When people play shooting games, what makes them choose a particular game over another? Or, to phrase this question in other words, what makes a shooting game better than its other counterparts? We’re certain that the majority of players will pick the availability of different, unique weapons as the USP of shooting games. Gunfire Games’ Remnant 2 is no different. The game came out on July 25, 2023, for Microsoft Windows, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, and players already love it. Now, one of the primary reasons for this fan following is the availability of a number of unique weapons that you can use in the game. The pulse rifle is one such weapon. In this article, we’re going to share details on how to get the Pulse Rifle in Remnant 2. So, continue reading this article until the end to find out all the details.

Before diving deep into the topic, you need to understand how the game works. It features multiple archetypes, or character classes. Some weapons are exclusive to these archetypes, and you can get your hands on these weapons as soon as you start the game if you’ve chosen the corresponding archetype. However, if you’ve chosen a different archetype, then you’ll need to complete a few quests and progress through the game to get your hands on these weapons. The pulse rifle is a weapon for the Engineer archetype. If you chose the Engineer archetype for your character, that’d mean you’d get this weapon without having to complete a quest. For other archetypes, however, it isn’t that straightforward.

Even though getting the Pulse Rifle is not quite easy, it is still worth the effort. Here are the requirements to get this weapon:

Collect Decorum Cipher

The first item that you need to collect in order to get the Pulse Rifle is Decorum Cipher. For this, visit the Terminal Station Dungeon and navigate to the area covered with wires. First, crouch, and then use the ladder to climb up to proceed. Keep moving forward, and you will enter an open room. You will have to jump to enter this space. Inside this room, you will find Decorum Cipher.

Collect Memory Core II

  • Go to the Dormant N’erudian Facility Dungeon in the Nerud region.
  • Cross the broken fence and continue walking to the left.
  • Soon, you’ll reach a lift that will take you upward. Descend where the lift stops and continue walking forward to the room filled with machines.
  • In this room, you’ll find the Biome Control Glyph. Collect it and bring it back to the Dungeon‘s entrance point.
  • Use the Glyph to unlock the corresponding door, and inside, you can locate the Memory Core II.

Visit Ascension Spire

Once you’ve collected both the Decorum Cipher and Memory Core II, it’s time to get your hands on the pulse rifle.

  • Go to the Ascension Spire tower in the Abyssal Rift. This is the location where Custodian resides.
  • Once inside the tower, walk towards the left side until you reach a little hole that leads to an underground facility.
  • You will find a lift in this area, which will take you to another hidden room that contains a purple machine.
  • Insert the Decorum Cipher and the Memory Core II in this machine to open a hidden door.
  • Walk through this door, and you’ll find the Pulse Rifle inside.

So, this is how you can get the Pulse Rifle in Remnant 2. It is an ideal weapon for mid and long-range fights in the game. That said, if you found this guide insightful, and want to read more such gaming-related content, keep visiting DigiStatement!
