Disable or Add exceptions to your Antivirus

At times, antivirus programs can identify the game files as a threat and prevent them from continuing basic actions like saving game data. So, to fix the disk write error, consider disabling the Antivirus program installed on your system or adding Steam/Epic Games as well as the game’s .exe file to the exception list. After this, check if the issue persists.

Run Steam/EGS Launcher as an Administrator

Running Steam or Epic Games Launcher as an administrator gives it a lot of essential permissions that might be crucial to fix the issue. So, to do this, right-click on the Steam/Epic Games Launcher icon and select the Run as administrator option.
