Note 7 and Mi A3

Chinese OEM Xiaomi has always provided its users with top-class devices. Xiaomi devices offer huge value for money and at the same time come with beautiful design and great performance. Xiaomi has a great number of amazing lineups of smartphones. The Mi A series and the Redmi Note series are two of the most loved series in the market today. The Mi A3 and the Redmi Note 7 are some really amazing devices from both of these amazing lineups respectively. The Note 7 was launched in January 2019 while the Mi A3 was launched back in July 2019.

The Mi A3 comes with a 6.09 inch 720p Super AMOLED screen while the Note 7 features a larger 6.3 inch 1080p IPS LCD screen. The former device is powered by a mid-range Snapdragon 665 chipset while the latter houses a Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 chipset. Both the devices come in several variants offering up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. These devices sport a triple camera setup and a dual-camera setup respectively at the back with both the devices having a 48 MP sensor as the primary camera. The Mi A3 leaves behind Note 8 Pro when it comes to the Selfie camera, the former having a 32 MP sensor while the latter has a 13 MP sensor.

Both the devices come with Android 9 Pie out of the box and as we all know the Mi A3 runs on Android One while the Note 8 Pro comes with MIUI on top. The Mi A3 is fueled by a huge 4030 mAh battery while the Note 7 houses a 4000 mAh battery. Both the devices outperform each other in various sectors.

Mi A3, Note 7 Android 10 Update Status

Well both the Redmi Note 7 and the Mi A3 have been in the talk regarding the latest Android 10 Update.  Both the devices were on the verge of receiving the Android 10 update, but it seems like the current scenario regarding the update is pretty much messed up.

Mi A3 Android 10 Update

While waiting for the update, a few days back the Mi A3 started receiving the Android 10 update all of a sudden which came out of nowhere with no prior knowledge of anyone. However, all of it felt like the moment of joy when Mi A3 users started receiving the OTA update. However, all that happiness came to cease when users started reporting about the bugs that came with the update. Users reported bugs where the fingerprint sensor didn’t function properly and many such other bugs. Just when the Mi A3 had started to receive the Android 10 Update, Xiaomi decided to stop the rollout further. The updated devices were also rolled back to the previous versions of the firmware. After such a long and impatient wait, when things had started to feel good for the Mi A3 users, all they finally got was a huge disappointment.

A user asked Xiaomi about the rollout and here’s what Xiaomi replied:

Xiaomi is currently working to fix the bugs to deliver the update soon but this might take a bit of time. This clearly means that Mi A3 users have to wait once again for a stable and bugless Android 10 Update for their device.

Redmi Note 7 Android 10 Update

Note 7 users have been waiting for the Android 10 Update for their device. Some of them took to twitter asking about the possible dates for the Android 10 update. Here is what some users wrote on Twitter :

Twitter Post

Well, we don’t know about the Android 10 update but there is something even bigger which Redmi Note 7 Users might be delighted upon hearing. Redmi Note 7 was recently spotted on Geekbench running on Android R or Android 11. Yes!! you heard it, correct people. This means that the Redmi Note 7 will be getting the Android 11 update as weel but prior to that this also means that Note 7 would be getting the Android 10 update perhaps very soon.
