For players experiencing this, the devs have recommended that they perform several troubleshooting steps to get PUBG PC running normally. Here are some of the workarounds that you can try and see if it fixes the issue.
Perform a clean installation.
When everything goes haywire, the best option is to perform a clean installation of the game so that it fixes the unknown errors. To perform a clean installation, uninstall the game completely from Steam, here’s how to do it.
- Launch Steam and right-click on PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS and select Uninstall.
- After doing so, delete the folders associated with the game by pressing Windows+R, type %localappdata%, and click on Ok.
- Remove the folder “TslGame” and delete the BEService_pubg.exe file from the installation directory.
- Now, install PUBG PC again through Steam.
Updating Windows
