PUBG or Players Unknown Battlegrounds has just released a new patch, patch 13.2 on September 1, 2021. Though it has been labeled as a regular patch, this seems a lot more like a major update with the new content that has arrived for players alongside the fixes for various bugs the players have been facing in the game. We will cover what all has been released with this patch throughout this article.
PUBG Patch 13.2 Weapons
P90
To start off the long list of patch notes released, a new weapon has been released, a P90 SMG, this has been added to care packages and unlike the other and well most SMG, this gun can shoot long range without an issue.
The P90 has its own unique 5.7mm ammo, it comes with a cheek pad, handguard, silencer, and Laser preattached and is also non-removable.
In a care package, the gun will come paired with 250 rounds with 5.7mm ammo, and each magazine holds 50 ammo each. The gun does damage of 35 at an effective distance of 200m to 300m.
Blue Zone Grenade
A grenade that creates a blue zone up to 10 meters, can be used to lure enemies out or kill them inside as it does 10 damage per second.
The blue zone remains for 5 seconds and then begins to shrink for another 5 seconds after which simply disappearing. The damage can also stack, if you are already in a blue zone and someone throws a blue zone grenade at you, the damage from both blue zones will take effect.
The grenade will not explode underwater but can near water and anyone in the zone will take damage.
Patch 13.2 Vehicles
Porter
A new vehicle has been introduced in the game, porter, which is a pickup truck exclusively on Taego. The porter is a Hyundai truck initially released in 1977, it is an all-wheel-drive vehicle that can hold 4 passengers, a trunk system is available and the capacity is 400, the maximum speed of the vehicle is 130 km/h, and has a horsepower of 1200.
Trunk System
With the new trunk system implemented, you can store much more good that can help you with your victory on Taego, use the trunk part of the porter to store items, however, if the vehicle gets destroyed as will the items stored in the compartment.
Though any items can be stored in the trunk, players will have to make sure of the weight of various items as many heavy items may not be able to load onto the porter.
Other than the weapons and vehicles added to the game, another game mode has also been added to Players Unknown Battle Ground, the casual mode, it is a game mode where players can practice and have fun without having to get competitive. Play up to 3 matches a day in Solo/Duo/Squads where you will be dropped into Erangel with a maximum of 12 players.
