Reboot your console –

The first fix you can try to resolve your PlayStation 5 not connecting to the WiFi issue is by rebooting your console. Likewise, you can simply shut off your PlayStation 5 console and boot it up again to see whether it fixes the WiFi connection issue or not.

Restart your modem and router –

An issue with your modem and router can be the problem behind the WiFi connection not working. Therefore, a workaround to resolve the issue is to simply shut off your console and restart both your modem as well as router. Then, you can turn on your console and attempt to connect again.

Make sure the distance between your router and console is decent –

A short-range WiFi router can be the cause of connection problems. Therefore, you can ensure a more stable Wifi connection by shortening the distance between your router and console.

Change your DNS settings –

Another workaround that you can follow to resolve the WiFi connection issue is to change your PlayStation 5’s DNS settings. You can do this by following the steps below:

  1. Firstly, you have to go to your PlayStation 5 Home screen.
  2. Next up, you have to go to Settings, select Network, and select Settings.
  3. Then, you have to select Set Up Internet Connection.
  4. Now, you have to go to the bottom option and select Set Up Manually.
  5. You have to select Use Wifi.
  6. Then, you have to select DNS and change the Primary DNS to 8.8.8.8.
  7. After doing so, you can change the Secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4 and hit Done.
