If you are a die-hard Pokemon fan, you must have given Pokerogue a try. It’s a browser-based game that will make sure you get lost in catching and evolving Pokemon. Speaking of which, are you struggling to get your hands on Mega Stones? Followed all the things the game asks and still not getting them? If that is the case, keep reading this guide, as we have shared all the details regarding the same.
Speaking of the issue, many players, despite having a Mega Bracelet and multiple Pokemon capable of Mega Evolution since Round 20, haven’t received any Mega Stones even after multiple Classic runs and one Endless run. You might have faced a similar issue. So, let’s see how to solve it without any further ado.
Pokerogue not getting mega stones: How to resolve it
Before we get into the tips and solutions, keep in mind that Mega Stones are classified as Rogue Tier items, which have a 1.12% chance of appearing in random rolls. As shared by Reddit user Cat84271, Mega Stones specifically weigh 18 in the Rogue pool, translating to a 17% chance within that tier if you already have the Mega Bracelet and only one Pokemon eligible for Mega Evolution. This results in an overall probability of about 0.2% (2 in 1000) for obtaining a Mega Stone per item roll. All in all, it is extremely rare to find!
Now, with the rarity explained, there is no single fix but what we have are some player-suggested workarounds that could fix the issue. The key word here is “could”, as these workarounds are not guaranteed to work for everyone. Still, they are worth trying out.
Keep trying
First of all, as stated already, obtaining Mega Stones is extremely rare and luck-dependent. One player reported receiving their first Mega Stone after hundreds of rounds despite having the Mega Bracelet and eligible Pokemon, while another player got two Mega Stones in their first run. In simple words, the drop rate is highly variable and relies heavily on luck so keep trying!
Shiny Pokemon
One player mentioned that bringing as many shiny Pokemon as possible into your party boosts the chance of rewards upgrading after rounds. Shiny Pokemon must be alive in your party to count, significantly increasing upgrade odds, with even one shiny boosting the chance from 1 in 32 to 1 in 21.
Waves
Another player gave insight into the drop patterns. They mentioned that the appearance rate of Mega Stones increases every 50 waves, making waves 150–200 the most likely time to find them. To maximize your chances, what you can do is save up money for this part of the game.
Heal and Sacrifice
Here is an interesting workaround. Healing your party to full before rerolling could eliminate healing items from the rolls, increasing your chances of getting more desirable items. Also, one player mentioned that sacrificing your firstborn to a witch doctor might also help. Now we do not know how sure shot this fix is, but since it has helped a few players, do give it a shot!
And for now, that is all the information we have on fixing the not getting Mega Stones issue in Pokerogue. We hope this guide was helpful. Now, for more helpful gaming reads like this, keep visiting DigiStatement! Read more: How to Get Wood Log in 7 Days to Die?
