Considering just how big the mobile gaming market is, it’s quite surprising that there are only a handful of good MOBA titles. Among these MOBAs is The Pokemon Company’s Pokemon Unite. Boasting more than 50 million downloads in the Play Store alone, the game is enjoying a good enough player base thanks to the massive popularity of the Pokemon IP. TiMi Studio, the developers behind Pokemon Unite, have been doing a commendable job of putting out regular content for the game, and many in the community are wondering what’s in store for them next month in December.
While not everyone likes leaks, it can’t be denied that they prove a lot useful in making future decisions, especially when it comes to games such as this. A large majority of free-to-play game players are f2p, with whales and dolphins amounting to single-digit percentages. And the same goes for Unite too. And for these F2P players, leaks are genuinely helpful. Plus, some players just like to know what the developers are working on. So, if you are one of them, continue reading to know what’s coming in Pokemon Unite in December 2023.
Pokemon Unite Upcoming Pokemon leaks, map & more (December 2023)
Unite developers have already officially announced certain things that will be coming in the game in December. The first one is the next Pokemon to join Unite, which is Meowscarada. This one made its debut in Pokemon Scarlet/Violet and will make its Unite debut on December 7. Meowscarada happens to be the final evolution of one of Scarlet and Violet’s starters, Sprigatito. In S/V, Meowscarada is a Grass and Dark type Pokemon, so expect the same in Unite. Aside from that, the developers have also announced a holiday-themed battle mode and some holiday events. That’s all from the official side, at the time of publishing this. Now, let’s see what we have on the more “leak” side of things.
Leaks
To start, Ranked Matches will see the return of Remoat Stadium as one of the Battle Maps. For the uninitiated, Remoat Stadium was previously used for Ranked Matches but later on, it was replaced with Thela Sky Ruins from September 2022 onwards. Eevee, a known Pokemon Unite leaker, posted a tweet on November 17, 2023, mentioning that the legendary Pokemon Miraidon will be arriving in Unite.

And if Miraidon is coming, then Koraidon is too. Metagross and Gyarados are pretty much confirmed for the game since they are already being played on the test servers. Besides that, Eevee also posted another tweet where the names of the following Paldean Pokemon were added:
- Fuecoco
- Crocalor
- Skeledirge
- Quaxly
- Quaxwell
- Quaquaval
- Lechonk
- Ginkologne
- Tarountula
- Spidops
- Nymble
- Lokix
- Pawmi
- Pawmo
- Pawmot
- Tandemaus
- Maushold
- Fidough
Now there hasn’t been any confirmation if these will be added later into the game, but we do believe they will be. This could also just mean that the aforementioned Pokemon are new boost emblems for the game. Since Meowscarada will be arriving soon, be ready to take part in the free Meowscarada event. Complete this event, and you will be able to get your own Meowscarada. Here’s the Eevee tweet on this particular event.
