Pokémon UNITE did not get off to the best start with the eternally demanding and nitpicky Pokemon fans dissenting it ever since its announcement at the Pokémon Presents event on June 24, 2020, mostly because fans had already assumed that the “big” project being hinted at by the Pokemon company would be a massive MMORPG in the main series releasing for consoles and PC, but eventually, fans have left behind their bitter taste toward the game and are finally warming up to the idea of a spin-off series Pokémon game for their mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch. The announcement trailer for the game even had to be reuploaded to YouTube presumably to make up for the fact that it had quickly become the channel’s most disliked video of all time!
The launch roster for UNITE has already been revealed on the Pokémon UNITE website, so let us go ahead and take a look at Talonflame’s stats, levels, evolutions, and more. Right, let’s get into it.
Like in the original trilogy, the Fletchling first evolves into the Fletchinder at Level 5, which is its intermediate form. Starting at Level 7, the Pokemon evolves into its final form, which is the Talonflame. At Level 9, it learns the special new Pokemon Unite move, called the Flame Sweep, where it “charges forward over a long distance while cloaked in flame, shoving its opponents aside.”
Talonflame boasts the power tags of Speedster and Melee, as a result of its high mobility flying around the battle, and its ability to swoop down like a hawk and attack in close range.
Stats for the Talonflame in Pokemon UNITE
Now, let’s take a look at the stats for the Talonflame from the official website.
Offense: 2.5/5
Endurance: 1.5/5
Mobility: 5/5!
Scoring: 3.5/5
Support: 0.5/5
As can be expected, the Talonflame scores a perfect 5/5 in the mobility department, since this is its specialty in battle. On the other end, its weakest link in the stats is its Support, at just 0.5/5 stars.
The Difficulty level of this Pokemon is listed as Novice.
