Pokemon Scarlet & Violet (SV): How to Find, Get & Catch Slakoth

There are lots of pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet (SV) that are quite hard to catch. Slakoth is one of those creatures that will elude for a long time. A lot of players have reported that they are unable to find and catch this pokemon in PSV. Well, Slakoth has always been notoriously hard to catch in the previous titles as well. So, you will need to equip yourself with all the information about this pokemon as you can. Below, we will provide you with all the details about Slakoth and how to get your hands on this pokemon in Pokemon SV.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet (SV) is the latest installment in the Pokemon video game series. This is the first “true open world” pokemon game. So naturally, fans are loving all the content that it has to offer. All sorts of pokemon inhabit the vast Paldean map. While some of them are quite easy to find and catch, others can be quite hard. Slakoth is also a rather elusive pokemon in PSV. Although this Normal-type pokemon can be found in multiple places, it is still a little difficult to spot and catch in the game.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet (SV): How to Find, Get & Catch Slakoth?

As we mentioned before, Slakoth can be found in multiple regions of Paldea in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet (SV). Slakoth looks like a greyish sloth. It has droopy eyes and spread-out limbs giving it a lazy appearance. It likes trees and stays up there. Generally, you can throw a Pokeball to knock down a pokemon up on a tree but, this trick will not work with Slakoth. You will need to ram the tree using either Koraidon or Miraidon. You will be able to find a Slakoth in South Province (Area One), South Province (Area Three), and South Province (Area Five).

As we mentioned before, Slakoth can be a little hard to spot. You will need to carefully check the trees in these areas to spot this pokemon. Once it drops down, you can use Water or Rock-type pokemon to bring its HP down. Using an Electric-type can also be beneficial. But, make sure to not knock it unconscious. If you are unable to spot a Slakoth in these areas, then leave that place and return after a few minutes. Well, this brings us to the end of this article. We hope that you found it helpful. Stay tuned to Digi Statement, and happy gaming.
