Pokemon Scarlet & Violet (SV): How to beat Elite Four Larry & Best Pokemon to use?
Elite Four Larry is a Flying-type specialist. This means all the pokemon that he uses have the flying attribute. But, they also carry other attributes as well. Larry has Tropius (Flying and Grass-type), Staraptor (Flying and Normal-type), Altaria (Flying and Dragon-type), Oricorio (Flying and Electric-type), and Flamigo (Flying and Fighting-type) in his deck. This trainer is also very smart with his pokemon. It is sensible to use Ice and Rock-type pokemon against Larry. But, he has Staraptor and Flamingo that will counter Rock-type moves as well.
So, it will be in your best interest to carry Gyarados (Water and Flying-type), Baxcalibur (Dragon and Ice-type), and Tinkaton (Fairy and Steel-type). These pokemon will counter Larry’s fighting-type moves and deal a lot of Ice-type damage. You can especially use this against Tropius and Altaria who are quite weak against ice-based attacks. Ice types will come in handy against most of the members of the Elite Four. Well, this brings us to the end of this article. We hope that you found it helpful.
