Fixes and workarounds for low FPS and Stuttering in Marvel’s Midnight Suns on PC-
2K launcher removal
- In Steam, right-click on the game and select Properties,
- Click on the General tab, go to Launch options and here, add the following command –
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\\Marvel’s Midnight Suns\MidnightSuns\Binaries\Win64\MidnightSuns-Win64-Shipping.exe” %command% - Close the window and play the game.
If you have installed the game in some other drive, make sure to alter the drive name at the start of the command and change it accordingly. After adding this, if you launch the game, this will skip the 2k launcher. The low FPS issues should be fixed now.
Launch the game from .exe file
If you don’t prefer the method mentioned above, you can directly launch the game from the .exe file. So, for this, right-click on the game in Steam Library and select “Manage” and click on “Browse Local Files”. It will take you to the installation folder of Marvel’s Midnight Suns. From here, use the .exe file to launch the game. Keep in mind that this is not to be confused with the Win64-Shipping.exe file of the game.
Clear download cache in Steam
- Open Steam and click on Steam in the top left corner and click on Settings.
- Click on Downloads and here, you’ll see the Clear Download Cache button.
- Click on it, and once it’s done, Restart Steam and try launching the game.
