In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, Greavard can be found towards the north of the Alfornada region or in the Montenevera region. To catch one, simply start a battle, lower its hp and throw a Quick Ball.

  1. First and foremost, you have to level up Greavard to level 30 or more by using it during battles or giving it rare candy. Likewise, it is important that you level it up to level 30 otherwise it won’t evolve. 
  2. Next up, you have to level up Greavard 1 more time at night to evolve it into Houndstone. This is crucial because it does not evolve if the level-up process doesn’t occur at night. 
  3. After leveling up, you will see that your Greavard will evolve into Houndstone.
