Pokémon Legends Z-A: How to get and catch Alpha Dratini
Dratinis are generally found on rooftops, which kind of makes them inaccessible. You will need to use the roton phone for gliding across gaps between buildings. The glide ability needs to be unlocked by progressing in the story. There are different areas where you can encounter a Dratini. Whether it’s an alpha or not depends on luck. You can try out the locations listed in this article to increase your chances of catching an Alpha Dratini.
To locate Alpha Dratini, you can go to Rogue Sector 8. Then climb all the way to the roof of the building, and you will see Alpha Dratini on the right part of the roof.
Go to the Pokémon Center in the Magenta district. Down the street, you will find a building with a yellow marker at the entrance, which is an escalator. Use it to go up, then take a right turn, followed by left, and glide across the building in front of you. Climb another ladder and use the silk to move to the adjacent rooftop. Thereafter, turn left to spot the Dratini.
You can also try your luck in Jaune Sector 3, the building across the restaurant Le Wow. Climb the ladder to get to the top and then use the glide ability to reach the rooftop where the Dratini is present.
Another great location is near the restaurant Le Nah. When you spawn at the location, turn left and walk to find a ladder leading to the rooftop of a building. Once at the top, you will spot the Dratini at the adjacent rooftop. To get there, simply sprint to the edge and then press the dodge button to cover the gap. Therefore, you won’t require the roton phone for this. Make sure that you sneak up on the Dratini and use Quick Balls to intimidate it.
