Pokémon GO is the augmented reality (AR) mobile game developed and published by Niantic and is based on the TV series by the same name. The game uses player’s real-time location to locate, capture, train and battle virtual creatures called Pokémon. It is free to play game available to download from App Store and Play Store. The game is a PvP and PvE both combined. Players can team up and play the game and they can also play against each other as well.
Recently data miner have found a major text update was pushed in the game. It includes information for Rocket Special Research with Strange Eggs and Shadow Mewtwo, Special Weekend events, New clothing, and more. Let’s dive into the changes straight.
Major Highlights –
- Seasons Change Event
- Quests for Charmander day and dark Mons
- Charmander Community Day special research
- Timed research for Meowth Day
- Rocket 7 – An Inter-egg-sting Development featuring Shadow Eggs (now called Strange Eggs) and Shadow Mewtwo
- Strange Eggs will drop from Rocket Leaders
- You will need an egg space open to collect them
- They hatch poison and dark type Pokémon
- Special Weekend events along with badges (the ones we found yesterday) for:
- 7-Eleven
- Matsumoto Kiyoshi
- Verizon (unannounced)
- New clothing
- Ultra Sun/Moon bag
- Basic Mask
- Team Rocket Leader clothing
- Ability to save your search as favourites
- Show all Mons in the evolution line in your inventory
- Some smaller updates to the filter label and tagging features
- Incense’s description is now 60 minutes as its permanent
