Earlier this week, Niantic rolled out a new update for Pokemon Go with version number 0.165.0 & it 102.55 MB in size. You can check its details from the official patch notes from here.
Also, a new feature, Battle League has also been added to the game which allows trainers to battle opponents from around the globe through an online matching system and rises in the ranks of the league.
But there seems to be some sort of trouble with this new Battle League feature as it kept going on & off since it’s release, due to stability & server issues. However, now the feature is available again.

Coming to now, The Pokemon Company has announced that they will unveil a new mythical Pokemon on Pokemon Day, which is February 27, 2020. The new mythical Pokemon will arrive in Pokemon Go through a special event like we have seen for Armored Mewtwo. It will be a new Pokemon, which we have not seen in any movie, anime or game. However, it’s name & image has not been revealed yet.
The Pokemon will also be seen in the new Coco movie and will also be available in the Sword and Shield game. In Sword and Shield, a special Max Raid Battle has been planned. More information regarding this will be revealed later.
