Lures are module items in Pokemon Go that allow trainers to utilize any PokéStop as an attraction point for more wild Pokémon to appear nearby. Likewise, lure modules last for 30 minutes by default. Pokemon that appear near each module are available to all Trainers who are within range of the Stop. Additionally, there are four special lures that attract specific types of Pokémon. The four types of lures include Lure Module, Glacial Lure Module, Magnetic Lure Module, and Mossy Lure Module.

You can try enabling your smartphone’s automatic time or network time. The network time simply refers to the time that your mobile network connection sets. The syncing of your device’s time to the network time can help in fixing lure problems in Pokemon Go.

How to enable the automatic time or network time option on Android devices:

  • Tap and Open your device’s “Settings.” app
  • Inside the Settings app, find “System” or “Additional Settings.”
  • Scroll down the options and select the “Date & Time” option.
  • Tap and Enable the “Automatic Date & Time” option and also enable the “Automatic Time Zone” option.

How to enable the automatic time or network time option on iOS devices:

  • First and foremost, tap on the “Settings” app.
  • In your settings app, tap on the “General” settings option.
  • Scroll down and find the “Date & Time” option and tap on it.
  • Finally, make sure that the “Set Automatically” option is enabled and marked as green.
