Coronavirus pandemic, a viral crisis has suddenly made the whole world halt. Many countries are already under lockdown and Italy is in the most sensitive situations among them. The country is in state of lockdown since March 9. People are restricted to their homes unless they are going to work or on some essential services. However, a 31-year-old man found to be voilating the lockdown on the streets of San Fermo. He was playing Pokemon Go with his daughter and when Police asked him why he violated the restrictions he said ” “I have to hunt the Pokemon,” leggo.it reported.
The police didn’t charge him, but he joined the 43,000 people across the country who had violated the lockdown.
Interior Ministry said More than one million people have been checked between March 11 and March 17. According to The Guardian, in Venice and Torre Annunziata, police charged priests who were carrying out funerals even after the ban on them in this situation.
Seeing the current statistics in the country, prime minister Giuseppe Conte announced that lockdown is likely to be extended beyond April 3.
He told the newspaper Corriere della Sera on Thursday that “the blockade will go on,” adding that “the measures taken, both the closure of (public) activities and the ones concerning schools, can only be extended.””Stay at home. If you don’t understand that we’ll have to be more aggressive,” he said.
Amid all these, the man has shown some real guts, but this is not a situation to show off how much you love Pokemon Go. Even Niantic has canceled Pokemon Go events including March Community Day & Safari Event seeing the current situation, So, it is advised to stay home and stay safe.
