Coronavirus pandemic has grappled the whole world. The number of people affected by this disease is constantly increasing. Many countries are opting lockdown & this outbreak has also postponed many major events.
Pokemon Go, an augmented reality game which is based on a concept of getting outside the home & catching Pokemon has also made some changes in the wake of Coronavirus pandemic.
Coming to the topic, Niantic introduced both the Spotlight hour & Mystery Bonus hour as an experimental feature to the game. But now, it seems like this mini-event will become permanent for the game, as Niantic has announced combined Spotlight Hour & Mystery Bonus hour event for the month of April & you can check it’s details down below.
For the month of April, Pokémon Spotlight Hour will take place every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. local time, but this time around, both a Pokémon and a special bonus will be featured! For each Pokémon Spotlight Hour, you can expect a different Pokémon and bonus.
- Tuesday, April 7, 2020: Purrloin will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the XP for catching Pokémon.
- Tuesday, April 14, 2020: Magnemite will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the Candy for catching Pokémon.
- Tuesday, April 21, 2020: Wobbuffet will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the Candy for transferring Pokémon.
- Tuesday, April 28, 2020: Pidgey will be in the spotlight, and you’ll earn twice the XP for evolving Pokémon
