A new update for Pokemon Go has been released & the latest version of the game has brought in support for iOS 14. For Android users, the update bears the version number 0.187.0 whereas, for the Apple users, the update bears the version number 1.153.
Apple will release its new iOS version today & many PoGo players were worried that the iOS 14 will not be compatible with the current version of Pokemon Go. Well, this problem has been fixed as the latest version of Pokemon Go will run smoothly on iOS 14.

Updates
- Devices on iOS 14 are now able to play Pokémon GO
- A new search term “evolvemega” now filters Mega Evolution-eligible Pokémon in the Pokémon inventory
Bug Fixes
- If a Trainer Mega Evolved Charizard into Mega Charizard Y for the first time but had not yet Mega Evolved this Charizard into Mega Charizard X, the Trainer would be prevented from Mega Evolving this Charizard into Mega Charizard Y unless they have enough Mega Energy for the higher cost to Mega Evolve Charizard into Mega Charizard X. This issue has been fixed.
- Fixed an issue that caused the Purify button to not appear immediately after evolving a Shadow Pokémon
- Fixed an issue to cause the Daily Free Box in the Shop to not disappear immediately after redemption (there would be an error on subsequent redemption attempts)
- Fixed an issue that caused Meltan from the Mystery Box to appear with pink incense effect
