Hello Trainers! Pokemon Go 0.181.0 has made its way to all the Pokemon lovers. There was a lot of discovered data found in relation to the new update that was compiled here on Reddit. But there was also a follow-up post which will talk about right now.

Quest Evolution Pokemon GO
The evolution requirement section gets an update with new tasks. Data miners suggest that the upcoming Evolutions might depend on completing a task. The change might only be for split evolutions or Megas such as in Zen mode.
The quest requirement might even be a special research task.
Pokemon GO Fest
There ware multiple changes of different types associated with the Go Fest. Firstly there will be varying types of challenges that will have a goal set for each of them. Each challenge will have a specific city associated with them with a start time and an end time.
There will also be a leaderboard associated with the challenges, each player will get individual points. The leaderboard will help you compare your ranking to your friends or the world. There will be a notification panel that will tell you if your goals are met. At the start of the challenge, you will be rewarded with items.
- A bonus box is received after the completion of the challenge in GO Fest.
- There will be a tutorial explaining the challenge
- New Banners and assets associated with the Go fest
- The event section specifically will show: – Event Icon – Title – Event description – An image for the event.
Map Changes
- New map display changes will be available
- But they might not be customizable and set already by Niantic but a different map for different events is the way.
- Confetti settings found with map-related changes
- New map effects also found
Victini Encounter & Pokedex
- The Victory Pokemon will bring a lot of confetti to your screen
- A new move called V create is added for Victini
- It will have a special encounter screen
Pokedex
- New shiny form screen on the Pokedex will be added
- We will have the Alolan form shiny unlocked too.
- The Pokedex page will get a complete overhaul and new look
- New bundle with new contents will be available in the shop
Raids
- A minor but very important change in raids

Handling of when the raid pass is consumed hopefully to match up with the information we found regarding passes not being consumed until you start the battle
- Invites will have a cooldown between consecutive invites
- In Invites the number of friends is now limited too.
Buddy Consumables
When your buddy eats something, it will log it in the Journal. It logs a reward item,but if you feed your buddy you can get the reward. Although Unclear if it’s just regular berries or something new to feed your buddy.
