While Xiaomi has several sub-brands, no other is quite as popular among enthusiasts as POCO. And with such popularity among the more tech-inclined audience, it has a lot of expectations riding on it with every launch. We have seen many amazing devices from Poco. Poco smartphones always become one of the top-selling smartphones, as soon as it is launched. Whether it is Poco M2, Poco M2 Pro, Poco X2, Poco X1, it was always loved by the audience.

The F Series from Poco has always been an important phone for the company. The last phone in this series was Poco F1. Soon after its release, it became one of the most popular devices in 2018 and captured the smartphone market in India. It has been 2 years since the release of Poco F1 and we haven’t seen its sequel. But, now Poco F2 may be the next big thing from Poco.

Poco F2 Specifications:

With an IPS LCD Display, the POCO F2 is rumored to rock a 6.3-inches full HD display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The resolution is expected to be 1080 x 2340 pixels and 409 PPI pixel density. This clean display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

Poco F2 is expected to come with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor (if launched in Q2 of 2021) and a whopping 6GB RAM.

As far as the cameras are considered, we can expect a quad-camera setup with 48 MP or 64 MP as a primary lens which is quite a common setup these days.

Poco F2 is expected to come with Android 11 and may also receive up to two major OS updates and support storage expansion via microSD card. Some reports are claiming that, Poco F2 will be a dual-SIM smartphone that will feature nano-SIM cards.

As of the connectivity options on the Poco F2, we may get a 5G-Ready device and also WiFi-6 support, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00. We may expect to get all the sensors you may see in a normal smartphone such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass/ magnetometer.

The Poco F2 price may be priced around Rs. 32,000 in Indian Market.

Poco F2 Release Date:

Now, coming to the widely asked question – When will the Poco F2 be released? many people believe that the Poco F2 will be the “Rebranded Version” of the Redmi K30 Ultra. Because Redmi K30 was launched as Poco F2 and the Redmi K30 Pro was released as Poco F2 Pro. But, Anuj Sharma, Country Director of Poco India, in a Poco’s AskMeAnything session – #POCOAMA said, “Redmi K30 Ultra is an impressive phone. But, we believe that we can do better.” Hence, it is not yet confirmed whether it will be a rebranded K30 Ultra or Poco’s own device. The Poco F2 may be released in Nov./Dec. 2020 or in early 2021.

Note: All the above details are purely expectations and there are not any official updates yet from OnePlus.
