Just in case you’re trying to get your head around why PlayStation servers aren’t working for you or throwing login problems, find solace in the fact that you are not alone, many others are facing the same issue.
A quick look at the micro-blogging site Twitter conveys there are many others affected by the same issue. For a quick glance, here’s how some of the complainants word the problem:
No error codes, have tried logging out / in, logged in on PC, restarted, all to no avail. ran connection tests (all good), restarted router. all other applications work except anything PSN related.

Any official word on the matter? No, not yet. We’re not able to obtain a word from the official service channels or their social media handles.

UPDATE: (November 3)
Several people are still facing issues with Playstation servers.
First we were given “An error occoured with the network” And the trailer and play options disappeared, then the “Playstation network undergoing maintenance” message.I got the end to play just a few minutes ago now but everyone I was watching it with is gone:/ thank u for replying https://t.co/f8yY8dOuYI

@2KSupport hey im having an issue with the bump in the night on ps4. I downloaded it and it says its not available yet. And when i go to the psn store it says purchased but in game says not purchased. I have the deluxe edition as well
