Many players have taken to forums to voice their frustrations, with one user posting: “Can’t change language? Only English? I can’t change language… not in options. Only English…” Other users have chimed in with similar experiences. You too might have searched through the settings only to find no language options. With no solution provided in the game’s options menu, many like yourself have been left puzzled about how to access the different languages that Planet Coaster 2 claims to support.

Workaround

The reason for this issue is simple: Planet Coaster 2 does not currently include an in-game language selection option. To change the language, you’ll need to go through Steam’s settings, as there’s no option to change it within the game itself. Fortunately, it’s easy to adjust once you know where to look. To change the language in Planet Coaster 2 via Steam, follow these steps:

  • Go to your Steam library and locate Planet Coaster 2 in the list of games.
  • Right-click on the game and select Properties from the dropdown menu.
  • In the Properties window, navigate to the Language tab.
  • From the list of available languages, select your preferred language.
  • Close the Properties window, and Steam should automatically begin downloading any necessary language files. Once completed, the game will launch in your selected language.
  • If your selected language does not load up with the first launch, give your system a restart and then launch the game again.

And that’s it! By following these steps, you’ll be able to play the game in your chosen language without any further hassle. We hope this guide has helped you resolve the issue and made your experience with the game even more enjoyable.
