PicPick is a eindows program with the sole purpose of creating and editing screenshots. But, with updates, features in the app have been increased. PicPick now has tools like color picker, color palette, pixel ruler, protractor, crosshair and even whiteboard. PicPick is fast to load and sits in the corner until it is required. It is developed by a company called NGWIN.
PicPick is in the form of a small taskbar which houses all of its features in a menu. The app can be downloaded in its full version or can be run as a portable app. PicPick is free to use by private users but commercial users do require a license. But they get the benifit of automatic updates and customer service which the free version users do not.
In PicPick, you can create a screenshot in two ways:
- You can press the ‘Print Screen’ button on the taskbar to take a screenshot of your screen or use the Alt key which pops up the PicPick window.
- You can take a screenshot of an entire webpage in just a single screenshot by using the ‘Scrolling Window Selection’ button.
PicPick gives user editing tools for editing their screenshots and recently the company also added the feature to share these screenshots via Facebook, Email, Twitter and more. PicPick supports formats such as .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .png, .pdf.
The tool is available for Windows running systems and has support of over 28+ languages. The app also support for dual screen monitors. The company has updated the app to version 5.1.4 with fixes to occasional screen freezing which happened in Windows 10 and language updates.
