Phasmophobia “Hide and Seek: Seeker” Weekly Challenge Explained

Kinetic Games’ Phasmophia is soon coming to consoles too. The ghost-hunting title is currently under Steam’s Early Access program and will be for quite some time. Kinetic Games has announced that the game will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation VR2, and PlayStation 5 in August 2023, with all platforms allowing optional crossplay. The game has been doing great ever since its release, and at the time of publishing this article, it had achieved a 24-hour peak of 20K+ players. That’s an impressive number for an indie game in such a niche genre. Anyway, if you are reading this article, then you must be one of the many who want to understand the “Hide and Seek: Seeker” weekly challenge in the game. If so, you have come to the right place.

Weekly Challenge as the name clearly suggests, is a seven-day challenge or event in which players are given a particular task to complete in exchange for rewards. The Weekly Challenge in Phasmophobia resets every Monday (Midnight UTC), so players need to complete the challenge before the designated time. These challenges can be hard at times if you are new to the game. Even veterans have trouble with them sometimes. For this week’s challenge, we have prepared this guide, and by the end of it, you will know everything important about how to complete it.

Phasmophobia “Hide and Seek: Seeker” Weekly Challenge Explained

After last week’s “Detectives Only” weekly challenge, Phasmophobia players can now take part in yet another new one. This week’s challenge is called – Hide and Seek: Seeker. Here’s the weekly challenge description:

There’s a very quiet ghost hiding somewhere, can you find it?

To complete this challenge, players will need to find the correct ghost type at Brownstone High School a total of three times. Once you complete the challenge, you will be rewarded with $3000. Well, now that you know what the challenge is, it is time to share details on how to complete it.

How to complete the challenge?

Compared to last week’s “Detectives Only” challenge, the ongoing weekly challenge is pretty easy. There’s no cursed item and no sanity drops. A calm ghost is what you need to look out for. The ghost you are looking for is a friendly one, so don’t worry about getting attacked or hunted. All in all, your investigation is going to be very easy.

While you begin your investigation, you will quickly find that all the doors in the building are closed. So, what you need to do is try your best to look for open doors. Also, look for ringing phones and use your night vision camera to spot irregularities. If you didn’t already know, you can’t use a Thermometer, so you need to check your breath as well.

If you have a pretty good understanding of ghost personalities, then this challenge wouldn’t be particularly hard for you. But it will take you time to find the right room where the ghost resides since, as we mentioned earlier, it is a big fan of being passive. Just do a couple of rounds and carefully inspect all doors for any kind of touch. If you find a door opened, set up your gear in the room, look for evidence, and identify the ghost.

That said, we certainly hope that this guide has helped you complete the “Hide and Seek: Seeker” weekly challenge in Phasmophobia. For more guides like this, don’t forget to bookmark DigiStatement. Also, read: Phasmophobia: How to survive hunts?
