If you are wondering why PES is not working for you on Xbox. Fret not, as it is not working for many others too. Well, the reason for that is PES has currently gone under maintenance.
This information has been shared by Xbox Support Twitter handle. The official statement of Xbox Support read as follows : We are aware that eFootball PES 2020 is undergoing maintenance. We’ll keep you updated here and on our support page when we have more info.
