Atlus is back with another banger and this time it’s the remake of the 2006 classic Persona 3. Titled Persona 3 Reload, the game was released just a few days ago, on February 2, 2024, for PC and consoles, except for the Nintendo Switch. The game has already sold 1 million units in its first week, and that number is only going to rise at this point. However, being such a fresh release, it’s only evident that players would want to know everything that’s there to know about the game, and that also includes basic things like changing language.
Whether a game is indie or AAA, you can’t expect it to have a wide reach if it doesn’t support many languages. Check out any game in your game library, and you will find that all of them can be played in other languages than just English. Modern gaming is all about reach, and languages play an important part in that. So, without much further ado, let’s go ahead and see how you can change languages in Persona 3 Reload.
Persona 3 Reload: How to change Language (Steam & Game Pass Version)
Players can follow the instructions below and change the game’s language with relative ease.
Steam
- First of all, launch Steam, and then switch to Library.
- Next, select Properties, and then you will find yourself in the General section.
- Now, on the right side, you will find the Language option.
- Click on the drop-down menu and you will be able to choose from the languages available.
Game Pass
- Open File Explorer, and click on This PC > C: drive > Users > [YourUsername] > AppData > Local > P3E > Saved > Config > WinGDK.
- Next, inside the WinGDK folder, you will find some files. Find the one titled Engine and open it with Notepad.
- Scroll down, and then copy-paste the following line at the end:
- [Internationalization]
- Culture=en
- As you might have guessed already, en is for English. For other languages, you can use the following language codes:
-
- Spanish- es
- German – de
- French – fr
- Italian – it
- Korean – ko
- Japanese – ja
- Turkish – tr
- Traditional Chinese – zh-TW
- Simplified Chinese – zh-CN
- Russian – ru
- Portuguese-Brazil – pt-BR
- Polish – pl
- After copy-pasting the line, save the file and launch Persona 3 Reload. If this doesn’t help, you can also use the following method:
- Open Windows Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region.
- You can now select whichever language you want by using the drop-down option beside Windows Display Settings.
Now, those who want to change voice language in the game, can just head over to the in-game menu, select Config > Game System Settings, and use the Change Voice Language option. Currently, you can only choose between English and Japanese, so remember that. Players can also check out the following list to find out what languages the game supports:
