Who would’ve thought that Pokemon with guns and doing labor would be such a popular concept but here we are. Pocketpair’s upcoming title, Palworld, is slated for an early access launch this January 2024, and, safe to say, there’s a good amount of following for it. And since January 2024 is just around the corner, there’s a lot that players are curious about. A major question that many want answers to is about the game’s Steam Deck, Rog Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go support.
The rise in popularity of PC handhelds in the past few years has changed the gaming world. With titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Doom Eternal, Elden Ring, and many others playable on the go, it’s only evident that players would want to know whether an upcoming game will be playable on a handheld or not. So, without further ado, let’s find out if Palworld is going to support the Steam Deck, Asus Rog Ally, and the Lenovo Legion Go.
Palworld Steam Deck, Asus Rog Ally & Lenovo Legion Go Support details
As of now, we are yet to get any official announcements regarding Palworld being supported on the Steam Deck, Rog Ally, and the Lenovo Legion Go. However, we sincerely believe that it will be playable on all three handhelds. Why? Well, mainly because it doesn’t demand powerful specs to run. Following are the minimum requirements and the recommended requirements for Palworld:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 or later (64-Bit)
- Processor: i5-3570K 3.4 GHz 4 Core
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 1050 (2GB)
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 40 GB available space
- Additional Notes: Internet connection required for multiplayer. SSD required.
RECOMMENDED REQUIREMENTS
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 or later (64-Bit)
- Processor: i9-9900K 3.6 GHz 8 Core
- Memory: 32 GB RAM
- Graphics: GeForce RTX 2070
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 40 GB available space
- Additional Notes: Internet connection required for multiplayer. SSD required.
While the recommended requirements are more than what any of the three handhelds offer, the minimum requirements, on the other hand, are perfectly suitable for running Palworld. And with a little bit of tweaking, we are sure that you will be able to run Palworld quite comfortably on any of these handhelds. But all this depends on which state Palworld releases in. If it’s a technical and optimization mess, then there’s going to be a lot of problems running Palworld on these handhelds, especially on the Steam Deck. But if the developers do a capable job of releasing Palworld in a good state, then you can rest easy knowing that the game will be playable on whatever handheld you are using.
For now, all you can do is wait for Palworld’s early access release. Now, Pocketpair hasn’t given any specific release date, so we don’t really know when exactly Palworld is supposed to launch in January 2024. So, if you want, you can join the official Discord server of the game or subscribe to the official YouTube channel to get all the details on Palworld’s upcoming early access launch.
