Singularity 6 Corporation’s debut title, Palia, is nearing completion. The cozy-sim game has now entered its open beta phase and is eyeing a full release window of Q4 2023. So far, the game seems to be going well from a developmental standpoint, as it feels quite polished. Unlike other cozy sim games, Palia is an MMO. As such, the developers have been focusing a lot on the community aspect of the game. Like other games of its genre, Palia too features a lot of stuff that will require some serious guide consultation. Finding tree seeds has been quite a frustrating task for many players, in particular.
Players will be doing a lot of searching in the game, from the looks of it. From looking for specific bugs to gathering tree seeds, there’s a lot to be done in-game. When it comes to Tree Seeds, it’s better to know everything from scratch than to spend countless hours finding nothing. So, consider reading this guide until the end to find out how to get tree seeds in Palia.
Palia Tree Seeds: How to get & find
Unlike your usual plant or crop seeds in Palia, getting Tree Seeds can be a chore for many. Although some seeds can be bought from Zeki at the General Store, the ones you will need during some in-game quests will not be available for purchase there. So, you will need to resort to other methods. There are several ways to get them. Here are some common methods:
Cut Trees
The most obvious way to get tree seeds is to simply cut down trees. If you have played games like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, then you must be aware that chopping down trees in farm-sim games nets the player various resources, including seeds. The same thing applies here. But as always, there’s a caveat. Since cutting trees is a fairly simple and quick task, getting tree seeds this way would be the easiest thing to do. That’s why the developers decided to lower the drop rate of tree seeds after cutting down trees. So, if you do go with this method, be ready to chop a lot of trees and continue praying to RNGesus until you get seeds. Also, remember that you need to get a Fine Ax or an upgraded version of the Ax for this method.
Note: It’s suggested to chop down medium to large-sized trees for a better chance of getting tree seeds. Bahari Bay and Kilima Village are some of the best spots for this.
Check Mailbox
Just like in Stardew Valley, villagers in Palia will send you random stuff in your mail. As such, players should check their mailboxes regularly between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., in-game hours. While there’s no rock-solid guarantee that a villager will mail you a tree seed, nevertheless, you should open your mail, as getting some other items will certainly be of help to you.
Use the Request system
This is where Palia, being an MMO, comes in. The game has a request system, which, as the name clearly implies, can be used to request various items from other players. All you need to do is navigate to the Social Menu of the game and, from there, select the Shop icon. You will now see requests from various players on your screen. But this isn’t what you are here for. To post your own request, you have to click on the tab located next to the requested tab and then post your request for tree seeds. From here on out, it’s all just a waiting game. Remember, this method relies entirely on the generosity of others.
