Paladins Infinite Loading Screen Bug: How to fix it

Well, there is neither an official hotfix from the developers nor an official workaround to solve the issue. So, what players have found is that deleting a specific file from a folder in the game’s installation directory did the trick for them. Now, don’t worry if all of that sounds overwhelming! We have got your back and will be giving you a step-by-step approach for this workaround. Follow the steps outlined below, and you should be able to solve the issue.

Locate the Troublesome File

Begin by launching the game, and minimizing it when you encounter the bug. Now, you need to find the culprit causing this loading screen bug. It is the “DefaultGame” file located in the config folder of the game. To locate it, just head over to your game’s installation folder, and find a folder called “ChaosGame“. Here, you will find the Config folder. Open it and look for the DefaultGame file.

Delete or Move the File

Now that you’ve found the file, it’s time to take action! You can go ahead and delete it. If you want to be on the safe side, you can move the file to a different location. Doing this will make sure that you have a backup file just in case things go south.

Restart the Game

And finally, after deleting or relocating the DefaultGame file, go ahead and close your game completely. Now, all that is left to do is cross your fingers and launch it again. At first, it may appear like the bug has not been fixed, but be a little patient, and in a minute or two, you should be able to get back into the game.

Well, there you have it; that is the workaround that seems to be helpful in the case of this reoccurring bug in Paladins. We hope this was helpful, and for more reads like this, stay tuned to DigiStatement. Also read: How to Upgrade Aura in Roblox Blox Fruits?
