[Stable version rolling out] Oppo R17 Pro Android 10 [ColorOS 7]

Original Post(March 18): Oppo launched the R17 Pro smartphone in its mid-ranger flagship series-R in 2018 The device features promising specifications with the dual rear camera setup. R17 Pro was launched initially with Android 8.1 Pie out-of-the-box, and it looks it will be getting Android 10 very soon. Well, it’s really surprising that Oppo R17 Pro which was released in Q3 of 2018 will be getting Android 10 update. Oppo officially announced the Android 10 trial version of R17 Pro today.

Recalling the features of the device. R17 Pro comes with a 6.40-inch display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. And it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor which is assisted with an 8GB RAM for lag-free performance. The most interesting part about the Oppo R17 is the dual-rear camera setup which carries 12MP + 20MP sensors for great photos. Reno 2Z features a battery capacity of 3700mAh for an all-day-long power backup.

Talking about the Android 10 update status of R17 Pro. Oppo today, with the official Twitter account has announced the Oppo R17 Pro Android 10 trial version. The device will be soon getting the Android 10 update and ColorOS 7 on the top.

Oppo is giving chance to 2000 applicants to get their hands on the Android 10 trial version of the device. If you are interested you can apply for it today. And if you are lucky enough you will be getting the trial version update in the next 3 days. Also, if you are not selected, you will be getting another chance soo, as you can apply for the second batch of testers.

To apply for the trial version update. Dive into the device’s Settings > Software Updates > Trial version and then fill up your details. And if you got selected, you will get the trial version update in the next three days.
