One Piece Chapter 974 is out online, and it finally reveals the traitor.
The chapter starts with a flashback where Denjiro, aka Kyoshurio, tells Komurasaki Hyori to wait and avoids any suspicious activity which may lead to reveal their identity. Another flashback from a few months before the incident shows Kaido and Orochi, where they discuss the information of retainers coming to 20 years in the future with the help of Toki’s power. Kaido tells Orochi to keep them alive if they launch an attack on coasts to question them. Also, Orochi assures Kaido about how trustful his informer is. He reveals that he send him to stick with Oden as a real Kozuki from the very start of his plan of taking over the flower capital.
Then the chapter comes to the present where retainers set sail toward Onigashima without any information on straw hats and others. The debate over the spy among themselves while sailing in the storm, and then Kanjuro reveals himself to be the one who betrayed them, which shock everybody. More words get exchanged between them ( you can read it in the manga).
After a couple of seconds, Beast Pirates comes there, and surround them. When they just put some fireball in cannons to shower the barrage over Nine Scabbards, Kid Pirates appears out from the sea and orders to put some fire show on the Beast Pirate, and then Law appears with his boat. Amid all rumble, Luffy finally comes out of the sea and announces a fight.
So, if we think of the next chapter, we may see some sparks which will lead to the beginning of the war. First of all, Kid, Luffy, and Law will make sure the Nine Scabbards are secure, and they will beat the hell out of the pursuers. There is no wonder if Kaido gets aware of it. I’m getting excited to imagine what gonna happen in the next chapter, and another happy news is that there is no break next week.
