Once Human: How to play with friends

Once Human How to play with friends

To make sure you have a complete understanding of how you can play the game with your friends, we have broken down the steps. Follow them and you will be all set to go co-op.

How to play with friends?

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to play with friends in Once Human:

  • Complete the Tutorial: Before you can team up with friends, you must first complete the tutorial, just so you understand the basic mechanics of the game.
  • Make sure you’re on the Same Server: Next, cross-check with your party members and make sure everyone is playing on the same server. This is crucial for joining each other’s games.
  • Open the Social Menu: With that away, Press F1 or G (depending on your key bindings) to open the social menu.
  • Add Friends by Name: In the social menu, you can add friends by typing their name. Be precise with the spelling and capitalization, as james and James will obviously be considered different names.
  • Add Friends by UID: Alternatively, you can use the Unique ID (UID) to add friends. Each player has a unique UID displayed in the bottom left corner of the social menu.
  • Get your friend’s UID or give them yours. Enter the UID in the contact search field.
  • Send a Friend Request: Once you have the name or UID, enter it in the search field. After finding your friend, right-click on their name and select the option to add them as a friend. Your friend will need to accept the friend request.
  • Invite Friends to Your Party: After adding each other as friends, you can now invite them to your party. Go to your friends list, right-click on your friend’s name, and select the option to invite them to your party.
  • Once they accept the invitation, you and your friends will be in the same lobby and can start doing missions as a team.

Co-op Gameplay

Currently, it’s unclear if you can share bases with friends. This feature might be linked to guilds. Keep an eye on updates for more information on this feature. Anyway, by following these steps, you can easily team up with your friends and enjoy the multiplayer experience in Once Human.
