Nvidia has got it all when it comes to the insane gaming experience. Nvidia Geforce gaming cards are some of the most powerful cards out there. It’s not been long since there have been rumors about the GeForce 3000 series gaming cards. Earlier, we also saw the specs of these insane beasts. Later, we also came to know that the launch of these series cards has been delayed. Well, now it seems like we have some good news coming up right next. We have some rumors which suggest that we will soon be seeing these 3000 series cards soon in the market.
RTX 3070 and 3080 Coming up in Q3:
These rumors come straight from a retired engineer of Nvidia. The person tweeted something really awesome about these upcoming cards, but those tweets are no longer present and have been deleted. Well, we still have all the spicy news that the tweet brought.
Well, we have with us the image from the tweet, which states a lot about the upcoming 3000 series gaming cards. As you can see, the image shows some great specs of these beasts along with their release dates. It clearly mentions that the RTX 3070 and 3080 will be making it to the market in Q3 2020 itself. The top of the line beast and perhaps the most powerful RTX 3080Ti will be out in Q4 2020. The lightly less powerful RTX 3060 will release in Q1 2021.
Apart from these release dates, we also see these pretty amazing specs which reveal the intense power these beasts come with. We have been speculating that the 3000 series cards will be made powerful by optimizing the existing RT Cores up to a maximum level. It’s indeed true but besides that, we get to 2-4 times more RT cores than the 2000 series gaming cards.
The entry-level RTX 3060 has 80 RT cores compared to 72 cores in a Titan RTX. The top of the level RTX 3080 Ti has up to 256 RT cores. Woah!! That’s just ridiculous. This will provide massive performance bumps compared to the 2000 series cards. The RTX 3070 can easily go head to head with the RTX 2080Ti which is by far the most powerful Nvidia gaming card out there. It might also be able to beat the 2080 Ti. Talking about speeds, all these 3000 series cards will give memory speeds up to a whopping 16Gbps which is totally insane.
So, this is what the tweet reveals, but once again, this is still a rumor rather than some official news. Things might still go the other way. If things were to believe the 3000 series cards are ultimate gaming beasts. Well, let’s just wait and see, Q3 is almost here you know.
