Wondering where the save files of the remaster of the 2008 released game, Ninja Gaiden 2, are stored on your PC? Well, if yes, this is just the guide you need. Titled Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, the remaster has been received well by fans, as evident by the mostly positive reviews on Steam. Currently, the game caters to over only a thousand concurrent players as per Steam Charts, which isn’t really that huge. Still, given the gameplay and fan base of Ninja Gaiden, we think this number is only going to increase. Anyway, since this is a single-player game, having access to the game’s save file is quite important to safeguard your progress or transfer it to a different PC. That said, continue reading until the end for every detail regarding where the game stores your progress on your PC.
Well, in the majority of cases, you won’t need to worry about where the game saves your progress. Why? Because it comes with Steam Cloud Saves support, which means that your in-game progress is saved on the cloud at regular intervals. However, this doesn’t mean knowing where the saved files are isn’t important. If your saves get corrupted and the files are backed up on the cloud, then you will need to start from scratch. There are many other use cases but for now, let’s focus on where to find them.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black Save File Location: Where is it
Well, it is obvious that if you are looking to access the game’s save files, you are playing it on your PC. And via PC, there are only ways to access the game. One is via Steam and the other is Game Pass. Both store the save files in different directories but we have shared information on both of them.
Steam
If you have downloaded the game via Steam, the game’s save files can be found by heading over to the C drive, opening the Users folder, and then the folder with your username on it. After this, open the Documents folder, then the KoeiTecmo folder, inside which you will find the NINJAGAIDEN2BLACK folder. Here, all your saved files will be located.
Game Pass
Suppose you purchased the game via Game Pass, then the save file location can be found by heading over to the C drive, opening the Users folder, and then the folder with your username on it. But, unlike before, here, you will need to find the AppData folder. Once found, open it and then enter the NINJAGAIDEN2BLACK folder. This folder contains all the saved files of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black.
