Among Us is one of the most played games in the world. The game has captivated people with its simplicity and engaging gameplay. On top of this, developers across the world have come together mods for the game. In this article, we’ll learn about the Imposter vs Crewmate Sword Mod.
What is Among Us?
We’re sure most of the people reading this article know about the popular online multiplayer game Among Us. The game has a roaring presence in the gaming community, where several users stream content of the game daily. The game also has a huge user base credited to its simple and yet intriguing gameplay mechanisms.
For the uninitiated, Among us incorporates a free roam world where the player can move around on a map. A lobby can be made for up to 10 players, each of which will be assigned a player type. There are 2 player types, an Imposter and Crewmates. The Imposter’s job is to sabotage the game, to make sure tasks aren’t done properly, and most importantly, kill Crewmates. The number of Crewmates steadily decreases till there are as many Crewmates as there are Imposters, at which point the Imposters win the game.
The Crewmates’ job is to stop them from winning. A Crewmate goes about completing tasks throughout the game to help end the game. When a Crewmate is killed, the body can be reported by both types of players. This then leads to a meeting, where votes are cast to either kick off a player or skip voting altogether. If the Crewmates successfully recognize and kick off the Imposters, they win the game.
The number of players in the lobby dictates the number of Imposters that can be there in the lobby. For 7-10 players, the lobby can have 3 imposters, for 5-7 players, there can be up to 2 imposters, below which there can be only one imposter.
Among Us New Imposter vs Crewmate Sword Mod
The new Sword Mod allows the player to wield a sword, which can be brought up by pressing one. The sword’s abilities vary again, according to the type of players. Imposters can use the Sword to Throw it at someone and AOE which involves killing the Crewmate with the sword. Other features include Speed and Dash, both of which affect the player’s movements.
From all these, Crewmates can unfortunately only one feature, which is Dash. Dash allows the players to dash across walls and gates in the map, helping them escape from a sticky situation.
