Wondering what the Naruto Card Game actually is? Look no more, as we are here with everything revealed so far. The Naruto Card Game is Bandai Namco’s upcoming trading card game, officially announced and will launch in 2027. It is not every day that one of anime’s biggest franchises gets its own dedicated TCG from the same publisher behind One Piece Card Game.
With that being said, the game is still very early in its reveal cycle, and most of the finer details, including card counts and characters, have not been shared yet.
Trading card games have seen a massive resurgence over the past few years, with titles like Disney Lorcana and Bandai’s own One Piece Card Game pulling in huge player bases. Naruto, being one of the most recognized anime franchises in the world, was always going to be a natural fit for this space.
Creator Masashi Kishimoto himself shared a message alongside the announcement, saying he hopes the cards find their way into fans’ hands and hearts, along with a brand new piece of artwork showing Naruto and Sasuke holding black and white cards.

As for gameplay mechanics, total card count, or the character roster at launch, none of that has been revealed just yet. Bandai has confirmed that a fuller look at the game, including card designs and a roadmap, will be shared on July 29, 2026, the day before Gen Con opens. Until then, all eyes are on that date for the first real details.
