Monster Hunter Rise is a game all about monster hunting. It requires that you progress over ranks and become an elite monster-slaying machine. To do this, the game gives you various challenges and tasks to complete. In order to complete these tasks and challenges, you can choose your weapon and your best kit. If you prefer close-range combat, there are swords and shields. If you prefer ranged combat, there are ranged weapons. Basically, there are weapons for all styles of play. Some of these may be locked behind an unlockable skill tree. This article is going to be dealing with exactly that; Monster Hunter Rise: How to unlock Weapon Tree.
There are 14 different types of weapons in Monster Hunter Rise. There are multiple different tiers of weapons in these 14 types as well. Each tier of weapon is a set amount better than its previous tier in terms of raw stats. They also have certain other abilities which when tied with character playstyles and builds can rack up immense DPS in the higher tiers. Some of these tiers are not available to you from the start. You must progress your way through the game in order to better understand the mechanics of a class of weapons and how to upgrade/ unlock the next tier.
Monster Hunter Rise: How to unlock Weapon Tree?
Games with different tiers of weapons in different classes usually have complex progressions between the tiers. A weapon from the next tier will always be better than a weapon from the previous tier, without upgrades. Further, in order to unlock weapons from higher tiers, you need to obtain or possess the required core material for the weapon.
If you are able to harvest the core material for the weapon from a tier above the one you are currently on, you can unlock the requirements for the weapon. In order to craft these weapons, you can have a chat with the Blacksmith in Kamura Village. This will open a menu showing you the different types of weapons you can craft, how many resources are required to craft them, and a brief overview of the stats.
Unlocking weapon trees otherwise happens rather automatically and in the background. As you progress through the game, you will complete challenges and quests which will grant you rewards in the form of materials or other valuable resources. All these resources and challenge experiences contribute to the unlocking of higher-tier weapons in the weapon tree. The weapons in the highest tiers are usually very very difficult to craft and need tons of resources to make.
