Monster Hunter Rise: How to unlock Training Area?

Monster Hunter Rise is the newest Monster Hunter game. It was released on PC and Nintendo with revamped graphics, a new story, and a larger map. It takes the previous version of the game and makes some unique changes to the mechanics and world. In this world, players will not have to keep loading into different regions of the map but will load the entire map at once. In addition to this, the new version also debuts some new monsters and monster types. To combat all this, both new and veteran players can make use of the training arena. Within the training arena, you can try weapons and practice fighting monsters for free. In this article, we are going to be taking a look at Monster Hunter Rise: How to unlock Training Area.

Monster Hunter Rise: How to unlock Training Area?

In Monster Hunter Rise, a training area is a vital place that can be used by older and new players alike. It allows the newer players to understand the game’s combat mechanics while it allows veterans to hone their skills. Veterans can use the training area to focus on high DPS combos to use against tougher monsters. Unlike in most games, the training area in Monster Hunter Rise is a separate area on the map which can be fast traveled to after it is unlocked.

Monster Hunter Rise: How to unlock Training Area?

The training area in Monster Hunter Rise is a separate area on the map you can access. Once you visit it the first time, you will unlock it as a fast travel option henceforth. If you have not unlocked it already, you will need to do so before you can visit it by fast traveling. In order to unlock this region, you can follow the steps below;

  1. Go to the Buddy Plaza. Here, Buddy Expert Shirubei will tell you all the features of the plaza and give you instructions on how to get to the training area.
  2. Once you are given the instructions, head towards the docks for a boat.
  3. Following the instructions, go in the direction of the training area until you see a ‘Move’ prompt.
  4. When this prompt appears, click the required button.
  5. Well, after this, you have unlocked the training area.

The training area is available to all players from near the start of the game. It is an excellent resource to try out different weapon combinations and attacks on various enemies. It can also be used to polish and master game fight mechanics, as has already been mentioned above.
