Fully released in April 2023, Scopely’s Monopoly Go! is yet another successful game from the California-based video game development and publishing studio. Right now, Monopoly Go sits at number two in the Top Grossing on Board Chart in Google Play and has more than ten million installs. Owing to its simple yet addicting gameplay and regular content drops, it’s safe to say that the game is here to stay for eternity. However, all this praise doesn’t mean that the game is without its flaws. In fact, recently, players have started complaining about an issue where they are not receiving stickers in-game.
For the uninitiated, stickers are collectible items in Monopoly Go. Nine unique stickers in the game make a themed album. And when you complete albums, you get big prizes. What makes this interesting is that you can trade stickers with other players, provided you have more than one copy of a sticker. And many already do. But for some reason, there are times when the receiver doesn’t get stickers at all. So is there a fix for this issue? Continue reading to find out!
Monopoly Go Stickers Not Receiving Issue: How to fix it
Players can follow the workarounds mentioned below to fix this issue since there is no official fix or acknowledgment from the developers regarding the same. Use these and see if any of them are of help to you.
Restart –
Well, the first thing you should do is restart your mobile and see if that helps. Some players recommend starting both the sender and receiver’s mobile in order to receive stickers. So try this, and if the issue remains, take a look at another workaround.
Wait a while –
It seems like it takes a while for stickers to appear on the receiver’s end in-game. So, just wait for some time, maybe a couple of hours, and see if the stickers arrive. If not, then you can switch to another workaround.
Check your internet connection –
A common cause behind this issue is a bad internet connection. As such, we recommend switching to Wi-Fi if using data, and vice versa. Also, make sure your phone and the sender’s phone don’t have airplane mode turned on.
Wait for the reset –
A player can only trade five stickers in the span of 24 hours. So, if you aren’t getting stickers, then it might be that the sender has exhausted their daily limit. At this point, the only thing a sender can do is wait for the reset to happen and then trade stickers.
Reinstall –
If nothing else works, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. This is what some players did to resolve this issue. Let’s just hope you receive your stickers this time around. If not, then all that’s left is to contact support.
Well, that’s all we have on this issue for now. Additionally, if the invites aren’t working in the game, check out this guide. And as always, don’t forget to follow DigiStatement for more guides like this. Also read: Monopoly Go Invite Bar: How to Increase or Fill it up
